Trip To Tepeng

This is our trip to Tepeng. Actually, I don't like to go back to my in-laws house. If we are intend to go there I usually ask Abe not to stay overnight. Well, same as today. We left from our house @ 1130H. We didn't decide which way we'll be going to Tepeng, whether through Lumut or through Beruas. And stupid me, I told Abe why not go through the highway since we have so much money in our T&G card via smart tag, which is RM400++ (how we get so much money in the card I'll tell you later). So, without hesitate, we went to Tepeng using the highway. We were so stupid, but it saved us half an hour trip.

We stopped @ Dankin Donat. Lemme check, well...it doesn't sponsor the Jewish so I bought it with raspberry & banana smoothie. Careful, it's very fattening food which Homer Simpson loves it so much. So what, I love it and it's very hard to find it @ my place.

We arrived Tepeng two hours later. Before reach the in-laws house we went to Doli, the place that we MUST go whenever we go to Tepeng. Actually it's a restaurant, some sort like a Kopitiam owned by a Malay. I don't how the owner/owners got the name of the restaurant but my husband said that Doli is a combination of husband and wife name: dol and li (lili kot). It is famous because of the fried kuey teow. Sedap oii! Legend has it that Doli started selling kuey teow many moons ago under a big tree in Taiping. It was so good, they now has a big, fully air-conditioned restaurant. The kuey teow looks like the kind you get in elsewhere but more juicy. They don’t stinge on cockles, prawns, or the delicious Doli soy sauce that gives the kuey teow something extra. The first time I went there @ night it was full of customer. Since then, weo g just went there for lunch. Kalau malam memang lambat laa order nak sampai...So people, if you go to Tepeng don't forget to go to Doli that is situated in front of Pusat Kesihatan Tepeng. Ala, it's very near to Lake Garden.

After that, then we went to in-laws house. Play with the niece, slept cause of tiredness & fullness, then woke up. At first we decided to go to Batu Hampar aka Burmese Pool but we canceled our plan because we saw from far ahead that at Bukit Larut it was raining heavily. I told my husband before that if there was rain we go to the zoo instead but we were not. At last I suggested that we go to Hot Springs near Changkat Jering. Try jer laa...

After arrived @ the Hot Springs we took the VIP bathroom. VIP konon. It's an ordinary bathroom with a bathtub that can fill up to two persons. At least it's private. We took it with herbal things inside the water. We supposed to stay in there for an hour but the water was so HOT and we surrendered a half an hour later. We were sweating like a ***. I just put my feet into the water and my whole body after 20 minutes. I saw in the newspaper cutting in front of the place that the water temperature used to be 45 degrees and it increased to 48 degrees after Tsunami. Yang bestnya my husband tak tahan...cuit skit2 jer air tuh. But I felt so calm afterwards. The fatique cause by the driving (as for me co-driving) all gone away. Lenguh2 kat kaki pun ilang...Best betul...

We went home through Lumut. So I asked my husband to stop @ Giant to buy rice. Beras kat umah dah abis oii...Also bought some chicken part. Then bought something from the Farmasi Penjaga. Something for my hormone after read Liza's blog and from somewhere in the net. Huahuahua!!!

We had our dinner @ City Kopitiam. Asked for Nasi Lemak Rendang but the nasi lemak already finished after we arrived. So, we ordered the same menu but with ordinary rice. The environment is so calm and peaceful. My husband said the menu is kureng, kena nasik lemak jugak baru mantap. Next time lah. Oh, the kopitiam is situated behind Kamdar and exactly behind Uncle Zam. By the way, Uncle Zam tak sedap pun...Hahahahaha!!!

Not feeling tired @ all. That's why can stay til 2400H doing blogging. Very good hot springs! I'll go again next time...Kena kerap balik kampung ler macam ni...Hehe!
