Tears of Joy

Sunday, 12.02.2012
Two days ago my brother, Iba called me. I asked him "What's up?". He said "Nuthin, I'm just calling to say hi...". Then came his actual intent. "Call ayoh."

"Why?" I asked. "He's so stressed right now, because of the lost," he said.

And I said to him that I will call my dad. Actually, I'm not so good in raising someone's spirit. In fact since my mom passed away I'm not so good in talking with my dad on the phone (don't know why, don't ask me). So, in the end, I didn't call my dad on the day itself.

While my husband was watching the TV and I was 'smashing' my computer I just remembered; I need to call dad. Being a 'good', 'lovey dovey' daughter, I called him at around 9:00. Well, he was in a meeting with the co-workers and the Mighty Employer. But he can still talk to me anyway. I didn't say much. Didn't even say 'Don't worry' or 'Good luck' phrase. I just told him that the fans did not blame him. After hearing that, he sounded happy and asked me, where did I get the information. Through the social network, of course. After talking to him just for 5 minutes I felt relieve. I thought for a moment: Actually, it's not so hard to please our parents. Just spend five minutes and you can make them happy (even yourself).

Again, smashing my computer in my room after watching "The First Wives Club" on OneHD. Then I heard my husband shouted something. Ahh! I forgot there is a football match. I watched it with a nervous feeling, but soon the game became a boring one with no goal in the first half.

During the second half, I was in the room watching College Humor and I heard my husband shouted "Goalllllllllllllll!!!" and I knew it was a goal from Selangor. It was a beautiful one. Then, the match became boring again, with the opponent kept trying to score and our team played hastily. I picked my husband's tab and started to play Angry Bird. Not long after that, Bosko Balaban scored a goal. A lucky and quick one. Well, he's now the team's lucky charm.

The game ended with our win 2-1. My dad hugged his assistant coach emotionally and he cried. I knew he cried...Well, he's my dad. Congratulations on the winning dad. I love you!!!
