Small House, Big Love

Our task today is to tidy up the 3rd room of my house. Actually, I turned this room into a storage room since I have lots of stuff from my previous house (including some rubbish that my hubby brought along after our marriage). Furthermore, we still didn't use most of our wedding present. Well, a little house with lots of stuff...that's why laa....We stopped at 3.00 p.m. and decided to continue tommorow.

The unfinished task

I bought this house last year and started to pay (potong gaji) early of this year. Actually, I didn't like my previous rental house. It's too big (malas nak kemas) and I don't like a double storey house (malas nak naik tangga). Plus, it's too old and the landlord didn't bother to give any maintenance to it. So, we decided to moved from the house and started to search for a new home.

The little house

At first, I was thinking to buy a house at Taman Seri Iskandar. I really LOVE a semi-detached house. Tapi sebab dengar cakap Kak ***, the spouse of one of the teacher in my school, who lives in front of my previous house, and me the betul bendul person, decided not to buy a house over there. She said "Tak elok beli rumah lagi dalam-dalam tu. Nanti kalau jadi apa-apa susah. Lagipun kawasan tuh kawasan pencuri/perompak berleluasa". Lebih kurang laa dia kata lagu tuh. Anas dok kat situ ok jer...

Then, my hubby saw a sign of one of the house at Taman Semes**. "For Sale RM100,000++, pls contact .........". We surveyed the house and I decided to buy the house although it looked small. Tapi depan jalan maa...risiko nak kena masuk amat sedikit. Plus, it has a space for landscaping which is my hubby's favourite hobby.

The landscape

Well, the house is small but it's enough for both of us. We don't have a child and I think with my age two is enough. Since both of us are working, I didn't have much time to clean and tidy up my house. I did it once a week laa including do the laundry, vacumming, dusting, mopping and arranging stuffs.

The most living space

We decorated the house refering to the mags. We painted the living room mid-year. We already devided our tasks for the house. I decorate the interior and he does the outside part. Walaupun amature tapi jadi laa...I loved to renovate the front of my house and changed the gate but my husband said "nanti dulu, harga barang pembinaan tengah tinggi". Hmm...takut duit abis je...

Although it is small, I really love my house...However small it is on the surface, it is four thousand miles deep, and that is a very handsome property
